I lost almost all of the baby weight, pretty much as soon as the baby was home…but that doesn’t mean it stayed off…or that I was thin for that matter…or even that my pants fit properly.
So since the initial loss of baby weight has swapped itself for an extra 15-ish pounds…these pounds are very non-committal, some days they’re glaring at me, and others they’re miraculously absent…I’m working out with a personal trainer. Or, I’m letting someone tell me what to do…that’s probably more accurate.
Can I just tell you, my abs are screaming. I considered today while doing excruciatingly difficult leg lifts, that not only are my abs weak, they’re not in the same place that they were 2 years ago. They’ve been spread apart, cut into, and then given up on, so we’re definitely not working with the original equipment as it was the last time I paid attention to them.
Do you know how difficult it is to roll over in the middle of the night when your core screams with every twitch or shift? No, ah, I do though.
My armpits hurt too by the way. Funny…nobody ever talks about the day after the weigh in on Biggest Loser!
