While I’ve started probably 6 blogs about babies and nursing them and trying to do so while keeping a soon to be three-year-old from squashing Mr. Baby…I’ve not actually completed a thought enough to publish anything. Thankfully you’re not a large and demanding public. I think you’re just my mom, and maybe a couple of sisters-in-law (sister-in-laws?).
Yesterday was the Super Bowl. Packers won. Despite my status claiming anything different, I really did want to watch the game. Not that I watched a single game during the season. I had good intentions. I joined a Fantasy Football league. I picked out some good players. I spent some time as the leader. I dropped the ball…to be fair, I had no idea what I was doing.
As penance for being the poser that I am, I didn’t get to watch much of the first half. My son was fussy. My husband was hungry. Dinner was ready earlier than I’d planned and my daughter needs to be supervised while eating or most of her dinner ends up in her hair. It seemed as though every time I got up someone made a great play…they even scored. AND…Court, in a sweet effort to rewind and let me see the plays, fast forwarded through the commercials! Sigh…
I got to see the end…Ava was in bed, Christopher sleeping but still seemed to need to be held and Court explaining plays…all to find out that he was rooting for the Steelers? What? Ava and I were rooting for the Green Guys…the Green Guys won.
I’m sure there’s more to say, but I just turned around to find Ava with no pants on and using her comb to brush the dog. Seriously?
